Department of computer science has started its functioning from the academic year 2007. It is been affiliated to Madras University with 150 seats every Academic Year. The department has produced University Ranks and many of the students with Distinction. The department focuses at harvesting excellence in computer education and provides a wide platform for young graduates to equip themselves to face the global competition through innovative teaching, leadership skill enhancements, placement trainings, etc.
Empowering students to become highly skilled professionals, instilling in them a deep commitment to innovation, advanced practices, and the use of technology for the betterment of society and national development.
• To deliver inclusive and forward thinking education in Computer Science that equips students with the knowledge, technical expertise, and critical problem-solving skills which required to tackle the evolving challenges of a technology driven world.
• To foster strong partnership between industry and academia, ensuring students to gain exposure to cutting edge technologies and practical applications that address both current and future societal needs.
• To provide equal opportunities for all students, with a focus on those from underprivileged and rural backgrounds, enabling them to become leaders in technology and contribute meaningfully to advancements in science and technology at both national and global levels.
