Keith Richards said he was surprised people were only reacting now, because the 50-year-old song was always overtly unpleasant. Richards and Mick Jagger wrote the song in 45 minutes at Muscle Shoals studio in Alabama, and it was first performed in 1969 at the Altamont Speedway festival in California.
'I think this proposal has been seriously mischaracterized': Janet Yellen defends plan for IRS to snoop on accounts with more than $600 and claims it will help make billionaires pay more tax
Janet Yellen, the Treasury Secretary, on Tuesday defended her proposal to allow the IRS to monitor transactions above $600. She said it was to clamp down on tax fraud and would not impact ordinary Americans - only billionaires skirting tax. But Norah O'Donnell on CBS asked why the threshold was so low, if it was only designed to target ultra wealthy individuals. Yellen insisted the plan had been 'mischaracterized', and has previously said it is to provide a comprehensive picture and avoid loopholes.
'I think you all could do a better job of selling it': Nancy Pelosi reprimands the MEDIA for not publicizing Biden's $3.5T spending plan in a positive light: Insists plan for the IRS to snoop on Americans will STILL be included
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she is 'very disappointed' Democrats will have to trim down their $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill after moderates balked at the number, and said the IRS proposal for banks to hand over transaction data would still be included. 'I'm very disappointed that we're not going with the original $3.5 trillion which was very transformative,' the California Democrat told reporters Tuesday upon returning from a trip to Europe to meet with G-20 leaders. But she promised: 'Whatever we do well make decisions that will continue to be transformative about women in the workplace.' She cited proposals such as universal pre-kindergarten, funding for child care and home health care and child tax credits.
Joe Biden could become embroiled in the FBI's probe into Hunter's finances, experts say: Emails reveal they SHARED bank accounts, paid each other's bills and the president may have even have funded his son's 2018 drug and prostitution binge
Emails from Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop, obtained by DailyMail.com, reveal Joe and Hunter shared bank accounts and paid each other's bills. Emails between Hunter and Eric Schwerin, his business partner at consultancy Rosemont Seneca, show Schwerin was working on Joe's taxes. The claim raises serious questions about whether funds from the joint accounts were used for Hunter's May 2018 week-long bender with a prostitute. Last December, Hunter admitted in a public statement that he was under federal investigation over his tax affairs. A former federal prosecutor tells DailyMail.com that if money was flowing between Hunter and his father, that could make Joe a target of the probe. The FBI and IRS probe is reportedly also looking into Hunter's foreign business relationships and the potential for money laundering charges.

'It's like The Crown on steroids': Anderson Cooper lifts lid on his Vanderbilt family's scandalous legacy in new book including fortune founder Cornelius who put wife in asylum so he could have affair with governess and clairvoyant sisters
Anderson Cooper, 54, examines his sordid family lineage in a new book titled, Vanderbilt: The Rise and Fall of an American Dynasty. The CNN journalist is the great-great-great grandson of the shipping and railroad tycoon, Cornelius Vanderbilt; and the son of socialite Gloria Vanderbilt. Cornelius Vanderbilt was the richest man in the world with a $100m fortune in 1877. Subsequent generations spawned socialites that went on pathological spending sprees in their quest to become 'American royalty.' Alva Vanderbilt (bottom right) spent $250,000 - roughly $6.4m in today's money - on a lavish ball to cement her place in New York Society. Consuelo Vanderbilt (bottom left) would become British royalty with her marriage to Winston Churchill's cousin, the 9th Duke of Marlborough. Alice Vanderbilt built a 70-room Gilded Age mansion in Newport called, 'The Breakers.' By the time Gloria Vanderbilt was born in 1924, the family fortune had been frittered on opulent palaces, lavish parties, gambling, drinking, and other vices. Gloria's father, Reginald Vanderbilt (top left) died from alcoholism when Gloria was 15 months old, leaving the remainder of her inheritance to be pilfered by her hard-partying mother. Anderson Cooper (left) grew up not knowing much about his family history, he said, 'In some ways I wanted this to be a letter to my son.'
'His words are garbage': Gabby Petito's mother slams Brian Laundrie's attorney for calling her daughter's death a 'tragedy' after coroner said she had been strangled
Gabby Petito died by strangulation, was the victim of domestic violence, and her body lay undiscovered in the remote Wyoming wilderness for up to four weeks after her murder, the coroner revealed Tuesday. Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue released the findings of the 22-year-old van-life vlogger's autopsy in a press briefing Tuesday afternoon, as her fiance Brian Laundrie spent his fourth week on the run from law enforcement. 'We find the cause of death to be strangulation and the manner is homicide,' he said. Blue did not provide a specific date for when Petito was murdered, saying only that 'the body was in the wilderness for three to four weeks' and that an 'approximate date' would have to be placed on her death certificate. Petito's body was discovered in a campsite close to the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming on September 19 - eight days after her family reported her missing and 22 days after the last reported sighting of her alive on August 27. The coroner said he could not determine whether Petito had been strangled by hand or using something else. He declined to provide any further details about bruising or injuries found on Petito's body, and would also not reveal whether any drugs had been found in her system through toxicology tests - saying only the cause and manner of death is released in the state of Wyoming.
Are vaccine-hesitant conservatives REALLY behind the Delta surge? Analysis reveals it isn't just Republicans and red state residents responsible for the summer increase in cases - as the mainstream media would have you believe
Several mainstream media outlets have recently said unvaccinated conservatives were responsible for the Delta Covid surge over the summer. Republicans have been less likely to get vaccinated at 56% compared 92% of Democrats, and are more likely to say they never plan to get shots (bottom right). But lagging African American vaccination rates have also been to blame for the fourth wave of the pandemic. CDC data show 33% of black Americans are fully vaccinated compared to 40.4% of whites (top right). As of last week, 57% of those who initiated vaccination in the last 14 days were white and just 15% were African American.

Strip search! Naked woman dances around Denver Airport before police catch up with her and transport her to hospital
A female passenger was caught on camera parading outside a Denver International Airport departure gate completely naked last month - somehow clearing airport security. The footage, a minute-long video clip recorded by another, clothed passenger - and not released to the public - was acquired by CBS Denver and shows the city's police officers struggling to keep up with the naked woman as she struts along the concourse, trying to address the strange situation. The woman, who airport police says was 'intoxicated,' had no luggage on her person, and appeared to be carrying some sort of a thermos or drink holder. What's more, she was in a part of the airport that only ticketholders can access - meaning she was likely a paid passenger. Throughout the clip, the officers can be seen toting a large blanket as they follow the woman around the facility's terminal, in a vain attempt to get her to cover up.
